Industry Use Cases

How standard apps use typing kinematics to transform their product offerings.

1. Mental Health & Wellbeing

Self-reporting is notoriously flawed in mental health apps. Users only open the app when they remember to, usually missing their lowest points.

The Nx10 Playbook: By utilizing the keyboard, the app monitors the user's kinematic baseline across all their daily digital interactions (texting friends, writing emails). If the LFM detects prolonged lethargic typing (slow dwell times, low arousal) indicating a depressive state, the Nx10 backend triggers a webhook. The Host App can then proactively send a "Just checking in" push notification or alert a designated care team.

2. Fintech & Retail Trading

Retail traders often make catastrophic financial decisions when emotionally compromised ("Revenge Trading").

The Nx10 Playbook: When the user opens the trading app to execute a trade, the keyboard assesses their current GBI. If their typing kinematics register extreme anxiety or "tilt" (aggressive screen pressure, high tremor), the app can introduce positive friction - such as requiring a 30-second cooling-off period or an extra 2FA step before executing the trade.

3. Secure Messaging & Dating

Traditional toxicity filters only analyze text after it has been sent, requiring privacy-invasive NLP algorithms to read user messages.

The Nx10 Playbook: Nx10 can infer a high probability of toxic behavior purely from how the user is hitting the keys (extreme physical arousal, rapid backspacing). The app can show an SAAQ prompt ("Take a breath, how are you feeling?") to diffuse the situation before the toxic message is even sent, all without ever reading a single word of private communication.

4. Real-Money Gaming & Gambling

The gambling industry faces immense regulatory pressure regarding Responsible Gaming (RG). Operators currently rely on lagging indicators (total money lost, time spent) to flag problem gambling, which often means intervening after the harm is already done.

The Nx10 Playbook: Kinematics provide a real-time, physiological leading indicator of chasing losses. If a player is using the search or chat functions within a sportsbook or casino app and their typing patterns suddenly become aggressive and erratic (high tremor, hard presses), the Nx10 backend can instantly alert the operator via Webhook. The app can then trigger a mandatory "Cool Off" UI or a reality-check prompt, providing regulators with a highly defensible audit trail proving proactive intervention.
